WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT IN GDANSK, POLAND
Waste becomes energy for 55,000 households. This is what will happen in Gdansk, Poland, when the new waste-to-energy plant becomes operational. The plant will process approximately 160,000 tons of municipal waste annually, producing about 110,000 MWh per year, which is enough energy to serve 55,000 households in the area.
