Versilia - Camaiore Hospital, Italy

A new hospital to serve one of the most visited tourist areas in our country. This is how the project for the new Versilia hospital, located in the municipality of Camaiore, in Tuscany, can be summarized.

The structure has 608 beds and a total surface area of 97,318 m². Two parallel buildings have been constructed, connected by four segments that enclose three internal courtyards.

This hospital has six levels – a basement (garage), a semi-basement, and four above-ground floors – with an overall height not exceeding 18 meters to comply with specific architectural constraints and keep the building below the existing maritime pines.

The first two levels of the main buildings house general services, the third and part of the fourth floors are dedicated to diagnostic and treatment services, and the last two floors are devoted to all inpatient functions.
