TURIN NEW PALACE OF JUSTICE, LOT 2, ITALY
The new Palace of Justice of Turin is an imposing complex located in the heart of the city, designed to host judicial functions with modern standards of efficiency and safety. This complex represents an important urban and architectural intervention, destined to become a point of reference for Italian justice.
The complex includes multi-storey buildings, including one intended for the classrooms and offices of the Criminal Section, 300 meters long, with 7 floors above ground and 3 underground floors. The Civil Section, 220 meters long, consists of 7 floors above ground and 2 underground floors. The two buildings are connected to each other by metal structures that rest on the stair towers, ensuring continuity and accessibility between the various Sections.
The floors of the Criminal and Civil Sections are built on a structural mesh of pillars with a distance of 6 meters. They develop on two external wings with a width and an internal part of 3.60 meters which acts as a connector, containing the technical shafts, the vertical connection spaces and the toilets. The facades of the buildings are made of curtain walls with reflective glass and solid brick-clad walls, giving a modern and functional appearance.
