Perdaman Ceres Urea Plant

PERDAMAN CERES UREA PLANT, AUSTRALIA
The Perdaman Ceres Urea Plant is an industrial facility located on the Burrup Peninsula, about 20 kilometers north of Karratha, on the coast of Western Australia. Due to its size, it is poised to be one of the largest plants of its kind in the world. It plays a key role in the production of urea, a fundamental component for the increasingly demanded agricultural fertilizers in the global market. The plant produces urea from natural gas, which is first converted into ammonia and then into urea.
The Perdaman Ceres Urea Plant has been designed with cutting-edge sustainability technologies to minimize industrial emissions and the carbon footprint of fertilizer production, with a commitment to make it net carbon zero by 2050.
