Al-Hasa Hospital Complexes, Saudi Arabia

AL-HASA HOSPITAL COMPLEXES, SAUDI ARABIA
A natural jewel in the heart of the Al-Sharquiyya steppe, Saudi Arabia's largest eastern province. This is how to describe the Al-Hasa Oasis, a hidden treasure that also holds the record for the largest oasis in the world. It is also home to the Saudi Arabian National Guard Hospital Complex, the most important in the region, with 467 beds and state-of-the-art facilities to meet the healthcare needs of the 600,000 people living in Al-Hasa.
The project included the design, construction and supply of furniture and electro-medical equipment for two new garrisons - Al-Hasa and Damman - and the expansion and modernisation of a third existing facility in Jeddah. It also provided housing and infrastructure for the National Guard and their families.
The project, which covered an area of 53,000 square metres, was recognised as a 'best practice' healthcare project by the prestigious Joint Commission International.
