I-35 Tarrant County, Texas

-35W TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, USA
Same road, twice the number of vehicles. The project is known as Segment B that inclued managing the toll express lanes of Interstate 35W (35WIP) along an 18-mile route (approximately 29 km). The project doubles the highway's vehicle capacity to alleviate congestion on one of Texas’ busiest roads.
Specifically, it includes the reconstruction of 3.58 miles (5.76 km) of the highway and the creation of general-purpose lanes (3-4 in each direction), parallel roads (2-3 lanes per direction), and the addition of four toll lanes.
Lane Construction (Webuild Group) independently handled most of the work, including all grading and drainage operations, erosion control, bridge construction, asphalt and concrete pavement, traffic control, and project management. The asphalt production plant in Justin, Texas produced approximately 350,000 tons of mix used on the highway. Additionally, the installation of a 900-foot (274.32 m) long sewer network, 60-inch (152 cm) thick, and the use of 2,000 lane dividers and 63,000 feet (19.20 km) of guardrails were planned to direct traffic through the work area.
