Four "special" situations when you need water in Las Vegas 

1. If you want a blessing with bells on, you need holy water, and flash marriages performed in Las Vegas are many: more than 100,000 a year in fact.

2. For a gondola ride on the Grand Canal, you need water. Yes, because at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino (the largest hotel complex in the world), a small Venice has, in fact, been recreated, with a 1:2 scale reproduction of St. Mark's bell tower, the Rialto Bridge and so much more.
 

3. Maybe you are hired by the cleaning company whose spaces include the bronze lion outside the MGM Grand Hotel. A lot of water is needed there to make it shine properly: it is the largest bronze sculpture in the country (it weighs over 50 tons).
 

4. You may need to rehydrate after sweating seven shirts if you choose to try the Big Shot, once the tallest thrill ride in the world. Perched 329 meters high atop the STRAT Tower (formerly the Stratosphere), it held the record for years before being overtaken by Sky Drop on China’s Canton Tower. Still, Big Shot remains the second highest and one of the most terrifying rides out there.
