"TOMMASO FATTORI" STADIUM OF L’AQUILA, ITALY
Tommaso Fattori stadium was completed between 1998 and 2000. The project included the construction of two covered grandstands, equipped with all the necessary equipment and facilities. The West Stand has a capacity of 2,533 seats, while the East Stand can accommodate 2,628 spectators.
In addition to the construction of the stands, the project involved the completion of the heating, water and electricity plants, as well as the creation of parking areas and road connections necessary to access the structure. Overall, the sports complex can accommodate up to 9,200 spectators.
The stadium, accommodating up to 9,200 spectators, is located in the northern part of the city, close to the historic centre, within a vast sports complex built in the 1930s by the mayor Adelchi Serena and which today includes the sports hall with ice rink, swimming pool municipal, a volleyball court and the tennis club named after Peppe Verna.
