MONTREAL METRO LINEA 1, CANADA
The works involved the construction of several sections of Line 1 of the metro, as well as the Raddison station, including the associated accesses and tunnels. This extensive project comprised a total length of 1,310 meters, with an impressive 1,110 meters constructed underground.
Furthermore, work was carried out on the Préfontaine-Joliette section for a total length of 1,820 meters, with 1,500 meters underground. This lot included the construction of two underground stations, each measuring 240 meters in length. The Verdun- l'Eglise lot was also built which involved the construction of an entirely underground section of 2,085 meters. Two underground stations were built within this section, with a total length of 345 meters.
Also built in Montréal's East End, the Beau-Grand car depot and repair shop between May 1971 and December 1972. This project included the open-pit excavation of a 45X450 meter area with a depth of 9 meters.
