There's more to it than traffic!

Yes, ok, Los Angeles is one of the busiest cities in the world. But are we sure that traffic is the first thing that comes to mind when we think of Los Angeles? So, what is it?

Exactly! It’s Cinema.

After all, Hollywood is one of its neighbourhoods, and Los Angeles is home to Paramount, Warner Bros, Sony, 20th Century Fox, Universal and so on. But while we're on the subject of roads, which cinema cars have travelled the streets of Los Angeles in the movies? We have chosen four out of many. And what are yours?

Let's start with a film hero: James Bond. He has had hundreds of cars, and they have always been central to the franchise. One example is a 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 used in Diamonds Are Forever. Why? Because that cascade of diamonds must have equalled what Ford paid for its cars to feature in the film!

It didn't clog up the roads, but surely, we all remember the flying 'Spinner' cars from Blade Runner's dystopian future, used by the police to patrol the area.

The '82 Buick Riviera driven by the legendary Ryan Gosling in La La Land. Actually, this car quickly was plagued by problems and quickly went out of production. Nevertheless, it perfectly expresses the romantic and vintage soul of the jazzman played by Gosling and directed by Damien Chazelle in the musical that won six Oscars and fourteen nominations.

Over 2,000 classic cars appear in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the latest film by the movie giant Tarantino. Besides, we all know the director's mania for detail and accuracy. Among the many, one, in particular, stands out, the Karmann Ghia driven by a dazzling Brad Pitt through the streets of Hollywood.
