In the ‘60s of the XX century, when the Assuan dam was being built, the ancient temples of Ramses II needed to be moved from their original position. To do this, specialist marble cutters from Carrara, in Northern Italy, were hired. Luciano Paoli was part of this team. In this short interview, he tells us his story.
