Sotra Connection PPT Project, Norvegia

The initiative for the construction of the RV.555 Sotra Connection PPP project represents one of the country's priority projects and one of the main projects to be implemented with the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) formula, as part of the infrastructure improvement plan launched by the Norwegian government.

In September 2021, the Webuild Group, in a special purpose vehicle, was awarded the construction of the RV project. 555 Sotra Connection PPP that involves the construction, using the PPP (Public-Private Partnership) formula, of the road and bridge system called "RV.555 Sotra Connection PPP Project", in the county of Vestland, in western Norway.

The project includes the design, construction, financing and concession management of a road network including 9 kilometers of motorway and a suspension bridge between Øygarden and Bergen. The bridge will be 30 meters wide and 900 meters long, with towers 114 meters high. The project also includes a total of 12.5 kilometers of tunnels (including secondary ones), 19 road and pedestrian underpasses, 23 tunnel portals, 22 bridges and viaducts and 14 kilometers of pedestrian and cycle paths.
